One day closer

OK its one day closer to going to Stitch N Pitch at Dodger Stadium. Here is the link http://www.stitchnpitch.com/. That way you can see if there is going to be one near you and when it is going to be. I can't wait last year I had fun at it and can't wait. I wonder what we are going to be getting. Last year we came home with some awesome goodies. One was a knitting bag that said Stitch N Pitch Dodgers and also a Namaste Knitting Tube. That I have to tell you is awesome. It holds a lot of needles and at least one ball of yarn. That way you can keep all of your needles as well as your project all in one easy to carry tube. Here is the Namaste link: http://www.namasteinc.com/products/accessories/accessories.php. It is a great company.

Right now I am working on a nice pattern called the simple Shawlette. The only thing is that I cannot share the pattern with you but I can share my photos with you once I get them taken since the creator put it as no share but purchase only. Which I don't mind at all I am actually happy that she did that way she can make some money off of her creativeness.

Well, all I am going to end here for a bit since I am hungry and also curious if Joe is out of his meeting yet or not.

Wow

Wow everyone it has been so long since I have recently posted anything. I am so sorry about that but I can say that it has gotten better here since I am working on many projects at once. Lets see my baby blanket of love one that I recently finished I was able to complete in 5 days. I was in kinda of a rush because when the baby shower was scheduled or so I thought was a week later. Well, I was wrong so I spent every waking moment when I was not at the new job finishing that blanket. I am glad that I did since the soon to be mommy was very happy to have received it. I Will attach photos below so you can see it. Just know that the photo quality is not that great on my phone.

Now I am also working on 2 baby blankets for two more of the guys that are part of the awesome group 911 Help America Foundation. It is an awesome non-profit organization that takes care of solider that have recently come home and have PTSD and TBI from the Iraq/Afghanistan war. Also know as, OIF/OEF. Both of the men that are getting the blankets for their wonderful babies have been through so much and deserve so much yet ask for little. This is something that I can do since I know what they go through since I have my husband and we are part of this organization.
And to boot I am also working on another shawlette for myself since I loved the pattern that I was given and even though my first one has a little bit of a special mess up in it I really do love it. As soon as I can I will post pics of progress as well as pics of the finished original blanket as well as pics from Stitch 'N' Pitch which is this Friday. I can't wait last years was awesome this year I now will be just as good if not more than awesomer ( I know not a real word but still) than last year. More later. I just can't focus right now since I have not eaten and I am waiting for the hubby to arrive with my lunch whenever that will be.

Sarge's Blanket

I recently realized that now that we have had Sarge for a bit I have not made him anything and he tends to currently steal the blanket that I had made for Joe. So I looked around and found the perfect pattern for a blanket for him and am currently working on it. As soon as I can I will link the pattern here as well as show progress on it as the time passes

Lately

Sorry to all that have been reading our posts and sadden that there has been nothing going on here.
Well, everyone rejoice for there is now an update on us:
We rescued a doggie that we have named Sarge from the San Pedro pound on August 28th, 2009 here is what the adorable and every one loving dog looks like:
Here he is with one of his cuddle buddies Quack Quack.
After we got him we went through a though spot and were very happy to have him since it made it easier to not stress as much. Now we are stress free and better off. Vanilla Bean is doing good and thriving and enjoying time he gets with Sarge while he gets to roll around in his ball.
I have recently completed an awesome design by no other than the creator
of Knitting Wounded Yarn. As soon as I can I will post pics of it and also a link to her site so if you like how it came out ask her to purchase the pattern from her.

Have a good nite and day until I post again

After you have cast on 20 (twenty stitches)

Knit 8 again

Knit 6 turn
Knit 6 again

Knit 4 turn
Knit 4 again

After the second 4 knit 20 (twenty) and now you are on the second half

Repeat
(Knit 8 turn Knit 8 again Knit 6 turn Knit 6 again Knit 4 turn Knit 4 again Knit 20)

Keep going on this pattern until you have your desired length.

To bind off I will post those directions when I get home from work LOL

I am doing better I am including a scanned picture of the directions on here since I don't know how to explain the bind off since I don't get it.

Hope you guys can read it. If not let me know and I will email you a copy once you give me your email addy.

OK guys it is done so here is the photo of the completed scarf. Its the perfect length it wraps around twice. Once we hit the Armada game on Friday I will have a pic of me wearing it so you all can see how long it truly it is.

Joe's Second and Third project

OK recently Joe started on his second and his third projects at the same time. And until recently (right now) I was blogging about it and honestly didn't realize until he pointed it out to me. So here it is.
Here is the first of the two projects:
Steering wheel cover.
To cover his BMW 318i.
As soon as we can we will post photos of it. It looks really nice so far and its done minus the fact that he has not sewed it to the steering wheel.

The second project that he is working on is actually two scarfs as well a customized dash board cover. As soon as we can we will send pictures. Hope all of you understand that I am going to be posting photos and if it comes out alright we can even sell the pattern cheaply but all of you can decide.

:D
