Snuggles of Love Blanket

OK the first picture is what it looks like so far... The second is a close up so you can see what I am talking about in my pattern. And always remember to ask me any questions if you need any help. That's what I am here for.

OK... Here is the pattern for the blanket...

Cast on 83 stitches on your size 11 circular needles. After you have done that then make a complete row. That way its easier for you to begin your squares and not struggling with the cast on row which can be some times tighter than you want.

OK you now have a very nice double row of 83 stitches knit 4. OK you now have one side of your border now knit 15 stitches. There you go you have your first square. For your second square you need to purl the next 15 stitches. Then knit 15 then purl 15 then knit 15. You now have you first set of 5 squares and one side of your border. To finish your second side of the border knit the last 4 stitches. You have now just complete one perfect side of your blanket.
OK here is when I first started the blanket that I got a little confused so I hope I can make it clearer for you:
On the back side or opposite side you need to knit 4 for border then purl 15 then knit 15 then purl 15 then knit 15 then purl 15 and knit 4 for the border.
Knit in this fashion until you have 15. Once you have fifteen rows in each square you then need to switch which stitch you are using in the first square. In other words if in the first square you did knit knit purl knit purl knit knit you now need to do knit purl knit purl knit purl knit. And do the reverse on the opposite side.
Keep doing that square fashion until you have completed 8 sets of squares. Then bind off and you will have a beautiful baby blanket for your newest addition to your family or friend's family.
I promise I will have pictures to show you what I mean.

First post

OK everyone good evening and here is the first to many posts on what this patriot family is knitting. Currently as we speak I am knitting a baby blanket (snuggles of Love blanket) that is fairly simple pattern and my husband is working on his VERY first project a simple scarf. Either Joe or I will be putting in pictures of them as soon as we can
